Biggin, Derbyshire
More Than a Pub – The Heart of Biggin for Over 200 Years! A traditional Peak District pub with a rustic campsite, large beer garden and stunning panoramic countryside views.
For more than two centuries the Waterloo Inn has stood on Main Street, serving the farming village of Biggin and travellers on the old turnpike. Today under new investment we continue that warm welcome for walkers, cyclists, families, and locals alike. It has been revitalised as a meeting place with quiz nights, Sunday roasts, dominoes, darts, music nights and above all good laughs. In the village of Biggin amongst miles of open countryside it's one of the best spots for a pint in the whole Peak District.
Our campsite brings new friends into the Waterloo community. Our friendly locals and regular visitors make the Waterloo a special place. Pop in after a walk, cycle or make a weekend of it on the campsite. Inside you'll find cosy fires, well-kept real ales and proper home-cooked food.
Four legged friends are welcome!
Our beer garden looks out over proper Derbyshire countryside. Grab a pint, sit back and take it all in. On a clear day you won't want to leave.
Few pubs combine space, scenery and atmosphere quite like The Waterloo Inn.
Proper pub grub, cooked fresh. The kind of food you want after a day on the hills. Washed down with real ales and a glass of something nice.
